I recently told a friend of mine that I have these inner discussions with myself, such as "Why didn't I bring a razor with me this week" or "Do you think that guy is wearing a wig". Now this friend makes fun of me for asking myself useless questions during the day. I was just wondering if anyone else finds themselves asking useless questions during the day and if you tell other people about it? I hope that I am not the only one.

I talk to myself constantly. When I'm at home and my husband catches me, I usually tell him that I am talking to the cat.
I actually don't talk to myself. Seeing that I am the one that usually talks ALL the time, I am surprised by this.
I thought you might add another word to your list.....scarified. I accidentally invented it today. It was a combo of scared and terrified. I think it works.
Also, I will revise my previous answer. I don't actually speak outloud to myself, however, my brain is in constant motion......and alot of times I am thinking things to myself....
Does this count?
Hello.....is anybody in here? I haven't heard from you in a long time. You probably don't even know that we changed our location.
I create conversations with others in my head when I'm getting myself ready in the morning. Usually it is over something that's bothering me. Occassionally, TMS finds me with an unusual facial expression and I know I've been caught. He loves it.
I just read that I was "thinking things" to myself. HOW STUPID! Of course I think things to myself. EVERYONE thinks things to theirselves..... I meant I HAVE CONVERSATIONS IN MY HEAD to myself....
