Yegg........

I can not believe that yegg got away with so much money!

This being the first installment of my word of the day I want you to try and figure the meaning of yegg out before I go and tell you........I can't wait any longer! It means safecracker, also: robber. I thought that those of you who used to work with me at the spur would appreciate my first word.
Now, on to more pressing topics. As I was waiting in the security check line at the airport today I saw several families leaving for vacation. While standing there I thought to myself.......if I every have kids will I allow my daughters to dress like prostitots? It really bothers me to see teen-age girls dressed like they are heading out to work their street corner. Do parents just not care what their children wear any more? Or, are they all secretly blind but continue to get their drivers licesnse renewed?
In addition to dressing like a street walker, what is up with the mushroom top, which is more specifically the fat role that is hanging out over the painted on pants/skirts that these girls wear. Do kids not exercise any more?
I guess I missed the memo that was sent out nation wide OK'ing the inappropriate dress attire of this younger generation. Right now though, the only thing that is really scaring me is how much I sound like my parents.

I have a friend that suffers from the same affliction. Problem is, she fails to see that she dresses her three year old like a miniature teenager.....She has even told me that she is living vicariously through her... I think this is sickening. Now my daughter is probably not the poster child for best dressed child...however, I do believe that when they are three, they need to dress like they are three...not thirteen.

On a side note, have you noticed that teenagers these days do not look like teenagers did back when we were teens. Seriously. I NEVER had a body like they do...or maybe I did but since I didn't wear the revealing clothes even I didn't know it. I was too busy worrying about how big I could get my bangs.

I have noticed that girls don't look the same has we did as teenagers. I really can't even guess ages any more because girls are looking older then what they really are.

I remember the big bangs. I can't wait for them to come back in style.

Exambo, I am with you on the big hair. Bring it back!!
As far as the teenagers dressing like prostitutes, I hear that it can be pretty expensive to raise kids these days, so maybe this is just an alternative source of income for the family. Momma needs meth money!
Just kidding with all that, but my question is: When did muffin-tops become acceptable? When did society become so lax that it became acceptable to not only have a spare tire, but to wear those little shirts and low rise jeans that just leave said tire naked to the world?? I don't need to see that!

Girls are more well-endowed nowadays because of the hormones put in the milk we drink (probably in other stuff too). I have boys so I don't alter our eating, but some of my neighbor friends buy organic milk. I hear it can bring on early puberty as well.
